James,

One thing came to mind after thinking about section 5.1.7. Will you be
able to identify storage only mirrors, specifically the LSI 3992 and
1932. I know this might be feature creep and out of scope but please
consider.

The reasoning is, LSI supports a feature called Remote Volume Mirror. If
this feature were enabled on the storage, the NAS could potentially grab
a lun that was a SAN mirror.

If there is a business case for Onstor to support such a storage only
feature, then it seems to make sense to consider this work as part of
this spec, be it Phase 2, 3 or 4. If not, it simply becomes a feature to
be added later.
